This is Buchart Gardens in Victoria on Vancouver Island. I haven't been there for years but it is gorgeous.

She's only there for four days so I'm not sure how many places she'll get to visit, depends on the weather somewhat. I'm excited to see pictures too!

Main thought right now is to find somewhere with enough space for the six of us and close to decent bus routes - although we did drive past one yesterday that had nice big trees and many interesting plants peeping through the weeds......

Went to see a house last night, accomodation looks good, near a bus route, less rent and lots of trees and weeds! Unfortunately lots of other people seem to like it too, so putting our offer in today and will see what happens.

Well Tori arrived home safely yesterday so pictures will get onto here once she's rested and organised.
Interesting development with the house. Our landlord has offered to drop our rent for six months to match the price of the one we were looking at! He likes us as tenants and wants to keep us - how nice is that?!
So we'll either be staying here after the six months or assess the situation again and be moving in the winter. I'm off now to plant my seeds in the garden before it's too late!

I visited Buchart Gardens when I was in Canada, wonderful centre. Went on to a vineyard after, all went blury then :-)

Gillian... that's so wonderful that the landlord likes you as tenants. He obviously thinks you keep the house AND the garden looking lovely :o)

Oh Gillian, that's great. That certainly gives you more time to look for somewhere else if necessary too. Hope all your seeds come up. My delphinium, nigella, globe thistle, snapdragons etc are all in the ground. The delphs especially are looking great. One even has a few flower buds on it. :o)

Glad your seeds are all happy Gilli! I hope mine grow soon - too bad I can't DD them!!
