Kesä on tulossa, sitä ei enää mikään voi estää. Sipulikukat nostavat päänsä mullasta ja pian ovat kukassakin. Omenapuut on melkein leikattu, samoin marjapensaat, silmut eivät kuitenkaan ole vielä turvonneet. Vielä on aikaa mutta ei kovin paljon. Linnut ovat alkaneet asuttaa pönttöjä ja metsästä kuuluu kamala äänten sekamelska. Pian, pian routa on sulanut ja pääsee peltoa muokkaamaan, porkkanat kaipaavat jo maahan.

The summer is coming, nothing can prevent it anymore. Bulbflowers are lifting their heads off the dirt and soon in bloom too. Appletrees are nearlu cut, also berrybushes, buds have not swollen yet though. There is time still but not very much. Birds have started settling in the nestcottages and there is a terrible jumble of noise out of the woods. Soon, soon ground frost has melted and it is possible to work with the soil, carrots are longing to dirt.
