Hi everyone, I’m starting my own blog. This is one of my winter projects that I’m working on. I love having birds around in my gardens and so I have a few birhouses around. Last month I was at a local local fleamarket and an old home made dollhouse caught my attention. As soon as I saw it I thought birdhouse. To my delight the seller was practically giving it away. I’ve been working on it and I have it just about finished. I closed up the back and ther door and windows. Whoever made this house made it in the rough which I like as it makes it look old. I did a little painting and tried to keep it looking as primitive as I can. As you will see, my opening for the birds to enter is very primitive. I want to add a rusted sheet metal roof as the small cedar shingles
will never hold up outside and I also need to put the porch roof back on. I want it to look like it’s been there outside for years when people see it. A couple years outside should do the trick.
I see where I can add two photos of the birdhouse that I have already posted in the member pictures. Can I also add photos that I have in my computer files by using a photo hosting site like Photobucket and posting a link to the photo ?
The first photo is the house as found and the second is what it looks like now. Mike C

Hello Mike,
Yes you can include photos from other sites like photobucket in your blogs either by using the html img tag or you can just stick the url to the photo in between two exclamation marks.
Love the birdhouse :)
