This past September I was fortunate enough to spend two marvelous weeks in Italy, staying in a friend’s guest villa , participating in a watercolor workshop , and touring wonderful hilltop towns in Umbria and Tuscany. It was a feast for the senses and every glance seemed a photo op. Here are some photos of garden views I came across that I thought might be of interest to others on this site.

You must have had a wonderful time painting those beautiful Italian buildings. The stone in the walls is such a lovely warm colour.

Oh, how beautiful - the photos made me long to go back there. We've spent many holidays in Italy - one in September this year - and I feel all nostalgic now!
I can't pick my favourite photo - so I'll just say thank you for sharing them with us! :-)))

What lovely photos, it sure is art inspring material - seeing these familiar images makes me realise even more than ever, just how lucky I am to have my little place in the hills, that I should never take for granted .. Thanks Nancy
