I visited Giverney a few years ago, and thought Monet's lake an ideal subject for watercolour (I used to dabble): did you use some of your lovely photos for inspiration?

Sheilabub is right! Its never too late...and Im 3 months behind her lol!
I too enjoyed a visit here but it was the end of June and caught most plants at an "in between" stage, except for bedding plants. So very garish and not too impressive. Most go in late spring next time, much more to my taste in colours. Love your pictures.
