Can't complain,San..I feel very lucky to have reasonably good health..my 'five a day' sees to that ..pills,that is ! :o)
although I usually eat fairly healthily as well..except when we go on holiday with Carole and Harry ! haha..no limits then..Lol.

i can imagine sandra, we just got back from Benidorm where we ate none stop i think haha, but nice on hols, but like you we eat healthy at home, bet you cant wait for that cruise :o))

I'd forgotten you went to Benidorm San,..did you have a good time? at least you would have some sun !We have to go mad now and then,haven't we? life would be sooo boring ! :o)

great week we had sandra, just relaxed all week, ate and walked it off again lol,
storm on friday but lucky as near by were floods so we were lucky, also back home rain and floods,
so all in all we missed bad weather and sat in sunshine 5 days out of 7, :o))
i would hate not to go away, like you say life would be boring sandra, i need to escape at least twice a year :o))

I agree,San..I couldn't go without a holiday either..or two or three! Lol...even a short break is good,if you can't get away for longer...
I read about the bad floods in Southern Spain..just awful..you were lucky to only catch the tail end of it ..I quite fancy going back to Benidorm sometime..where did you stay?

B. holiday all over, did not have a good start, got to Gatwick Sat.am very early to be told three hours later that there is no flight for us!! Had to stay in a hotel overnight, missed the ship leaving and had to fly to its 1st. port of call!! It shortened our hol by two days. :(

Good Grief Grandmage , what a let down for you , I don't now where you were going but hope you enjoyed it after all that !!

Oh no,G.mage..how awful..and what a disappointment for you all..I wonder why there wasn't a flight for you? I hope you were well compensated !

B & Amy, it took us a couple of days to settle after that beggining so it was a very short weeks holiday, they told us there was a technical fault with the aircraft! So our group were split up, half went to Luton and the other stayed at Gatwick (my friends & I were separated!) so we could be put on flights the next day, think I will go from S'hampton next time! My friends then flew to Alicante and had a 3hr. coach journey to Valencia, we flew direct to Valencia, it was a total mess and yes Royal Caribbean have given us two days refund!

And so they should ( yes sorry Carole ) Two days is nothing to compensate for all that upheaval . What a shame Grandmage It wouldn't hurt them to give you a free holiday !

Amy, that is what I said ! but dont think that will ever happen. Just wont be going with that company again.

Oh Dear Grandma so sorry to hear about your holiday fiasco, it must be so upsetting for both you and your friends, I agree with Amy you should have been given a free holiday to make up for all the upset.

Thanks Pp. it certainly spoiled our week and we were so looking forward to it! I have put pen to paper tonight and written two pages full of complaint.......will see what happens!

Im shattered tonight , we have had a full house today, 11 of us all together, Rob and Carers, Simon and Clare plus two childres and Joanne and Mark [my neice and Husband and me and Harry. Been a pre party day! I did some baking, Cakes and cheese and onion pies, a quiche and shop bought Pizza! but was nice to get together and Rob enjoyed the food and company. Going to relaz now and watch a bit of Tv if I can keep my eyes open ;0) cathchup tomorrow xx

Recovered now Sandra, been doing a little tidying in the garden this morning, can't waste the lovely sunshine, but going to do the major cutting back after the party;0)

That's good..it would be a busy day for you,but enjoyable..:o)..Very disappointing here today,,cold,cloudy and no sun at all..unlike yesterday..it was so lovely having a good walk...I made the effort this afternoon..with my fleece on,and got all the long border dug over,and lots of cutting back and tidying up..looks so much better,and feeling quite smug ! Lol.
I think we should all bring our secateurs on Sunday..and make it a garden party as well ! :o)) We are both looking forward to seeing you all :o)

Oh dear..just like my family then !..none of them have any interest at all..except Thomas :o) He picked a chive flower off last week,and gave it to his mum..not the best fragrance in the garden ! Lol.
