Thank you Carole and Harry..what a pretty Rose,and thank you both for your lovely birthday card...I don't know about me blossoming,but as far as I know, I haven't got blossom end rot yet ! Lol..Nothing planned for today,as we went out with our family for a lovely meal last night..maybe a trip to a GC..I got some very welcome Vouchers today ..bliss :o) xxx

Well,we did go to the GC after lunch.I only
took one £10 voucher,as I only wanted three 6 packs of Viola's,,but when I got there,I found I NEEDED a lovely self fertile Skimmia Japonica 'Red Diamond',and then I spotted a members offer on indoor Cyclamen,so naturally I had to spend some of my own money. :o(..what was a birthday girl to do faced with such a dilemma? silly question, I hear you all muttering :o)

The free cake I chose was the biggest piece of Mars Bar cake on display..but I did share it with Russell...honestly!.and the second piece this week,as they just happened to have some in a cafe we'almost' bypassed on a walk yesterday..:o) Seeing as he bought me a lovely silver necklace,and a box of Chocolate Brazils,,it was only fair to share..ha ha..
Beautiful flowers from Alison and Marc,and also one from Thomas, who sang Happy Birthday to me first thing this morning before he went to school..that made my day all the more special..:o)

Thanks Lindak,I agree,always room to squeeze something else in..The Violas are potted up,and the Skimmia is in a pot too,with it needing Ericaceous compost..I was lucky to have just enough left for another pot..:o)
