Well done such an effort and sure greatly appreciated - so kind of you been trying desperately to clear ours and front but hard impacted ice underneath and thinking making matters worse without salt or grit.

Hope you dont get more to spoil all your hardwork ..

Good neighbours are a godsend and we are lucky with that where I am. I like to think we too are good neighbours. I do my best. Well done, PansyP for helping your neighbour in her time of need.You certainly put your backs into it. Unfortunately one of our neighbours from where we used to live(she has been our friend for 29 years now) passed away suddenly and I had a shock phone call at lunchtime today from her son in law to inform me. A real shock!

thats amazing carol, well done to you all for helping her out,, sorry about her mum, so sad, i only said to baz if everyone went out together and did their part it would be clear but unfortunatly it never happens, ive done ours and gritted our drive and gritted my neighbours to, nice when people work together like this ;o)

Thanks to everyone , Ive not heard any news from Marie yet Ive just text her, she must be still at the hospital, Im afraid its not going to be good news, feel so sorry for Marie, we have all been through this at sometime, so can imagine what she is going through, will let you know when I hear from Marie.

It is very sad,one can only pray for all their sakes that it`s not a long wait and that Marie`s Mum passes on peaceably and of course that everybody gets home safe and sound......

It's a very sad time Carole .. you should all be very proud of yourselves for coming to Marie's rescue , No wonder Harry looks so pleased , I bet you will all be aching all over tomorrow ... . I've said it before and I will say it again you are a wonderful neighbourhood looking out for each other , thats a rare thing these days .. :o)

I'm sorry to hear of you'r neighbour's distress. It's a very stressful time for her without puting up with the snow aswell. I'm glad she was able to make the journey safely.

Just to let everyone who expressed concern about Maries Mum , sadly she passed away early this afternoon, it was comforting to know that Marie was able to be with her in her last hours. Thank you al once again.
