Easter Flowers

It is a wet but happy Easter here in Houston – Happy Easter to all! Here are some pictures of my flowers, on this happy Easter Sunday!
A white rose finally! I wish my camera were better to get the details…but I am happy it has survived the mites and is slowly opening up:
Easter always makes me think of white flowers – these are some of my white impatiens:
These are white and pink polka dot plants – the pink ones remind me of strawberry shakes!
You can see how hard it was raining, the poor red impatiens bore the brunt of it:
I love how green, how alive this banana leaf looks:
The red is also irresistible:
and a water splashed salmon pink geranium!
Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo! Gloria in excelsis Deo et in terra pax!!

Happy easter from a slightly damp east yorkshire. Nothing like your rain fall though as i was outside all day tidying up and pulling out an ivy that has got to big for its space. Found fritillaries and a pasque flower. the appropriate for today. Lovely photos too.

Sorry to hear you had such dreadful weather. It has been glorious here in South Wales, and I've been in the garden all day.
I enjoyed seeing your flowers. Happy Easter Raquel.

Thank you all for all your nice comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures amd hope you had a nice Easter! Sorry I didn't answer sooner but I'm off to Kentucky for a conference in 2 days and it's just rush rush right now! Augh!! =)
Lujean, white ones are some of my favorites too. Gilli, will write more about the roses later, they're being eaten alive by aphids!! and neem helps but does not eradicate! =(
Phil1956 you could try growing it indoors, mine is in a pot, so I think it could survive as a container plant even in your weather. =)
