New summerhouse

I would like to introduce you to my new summerhouse! My family have called it a She-shed, garden palace and bolt hole!! Whatever you want to call it, it’s a much needed space in the garden for me to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy family life. I’m hoping to spend a lot of time enjoying watching what goes on in the garden. I can just see myself with a good book, watching the seasons change….. well at least that is what I would like to happen… lol!! However it is important (for me) to sometimes go to a peaceful, quiet space to re-charge and switch off. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Oh yes that's very nice, if I want somewhere quiet I spend a while in one of my g'houses, cannot sit and read outside, I always find myself looking around for something to tweak, hope you do get to spend time in there...

It's lovely, a great addition to your garden. Love the last photo with it all lit up. Careful the rest of your family don't take it over :-).

It looks like it's going to be a great retreat and we all need that sometimes.

That is an extremely posh one Amsterdam. Will you be charging admission or is it private? Hope you have many happy hours in it.

Just noticed - is it one of those you can rotate to face the sun?

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. Unfortunately my budget would not stretch to a rotating base! Would be great though....I bought it flat packed on t'internet and then customised it. By painting itand putting a different roof on it. I love the big windows and fortunately my garden is quite mature so I can't see any of my neighbours.
