I received a parcel from KarenSusan63 after work yesterday, I knew it was coming but not what was in it!
So exciting and very well wrapped, it took a few minutes to open.
Inside was Iris sibirica ’Perry’s Blue’, Erodium ‘Sweetheart’ and Corydalis Flexuosa. Karen grew the Erodium from seed.

I was able to plant the Corydalis Flexuosa in shady spot beside the steps where it can be seen easily. The Iris and Erodium have been potted up and will be planted at the weekend.

Iris sibirica ’Perry’s Blue’

Erodium ‘Sweetheart’

They are in the conservatory because the nesting Blackbirds in the garden are attacking my pots for chunky bits of compost. Cheeky birds, they pull up the plants and throw them out of the way!

Thank you Karen all the plants are lovely and will be treasured, the card was beautiful too. You really have cheered up my week.

I also had a parcel from Karen yesterday, with similar plants. Instead of the erodium I had a Pulmonaria. All potted up now. Aren't we lucky, thanks Karen.
