Buying

I know I’m not alone in this but how do I stop myself from making impulse buys every time I visit a garden centre or nursery. I try to stay focused on plants on my wanted list but I only have to see a pretty colour, or an unusual flower and I’m lost.
Today I was looking for several things which I couldn’t find. Instead I came away with the most gorgeous Iris Stepping Out), something I definitely didn’t want. It’s tall and, at the moment, has just a single flower in deepest purple with white flashes. Eye catching certainly. All I have to do now is get it to survive for more than just one season.

I'm afraid impulse buying is an infliction from which there is no cure. You're destined to suffer from it for the rest of your days LOL :)
But you are not alone. I am the same. I have accepted it now and don't fight it any more.
And to be honest with you, I don't want to be any different ... life would be boring ...
Your new Iris is beautiful. I'm sure it will enjoy living in your garden :o)
