Alliums

The Allium Christophii that I thought were a bit on the small side have suddenly become huge flower heads. Just what I wanted and what they are supposed to look like. I’m most impressed. I may have to move a few later as, for some reason best known to my subconscious, I planted four of them in a row. Now they look like undisciplined soldiers. Still, they actually show off their size better than those grouped together.
Now I have a dilemma. Should I cut off the heads and dry them or leave them to seed? If I dry them will they look good in a container or vase over the winter? I’ve never grown them before so I don’t know. Needs some thought.

I leave mine to look good as seedheads in the garden.
