I love the Helibores. Makes me envious. I have two a pink and a white (the most common types). So far I have not seen any other varieties for sale here in Hungary. At the moment they are all totally buried in snow but I hope to see them again soon. Our Spring is always later than yours.

Good pics and blog. Out of interest did you plant the Crocus close together or are they a few years growth? They look better bunched up than single specimens in your photo.

Kildermorie
I would have planted a small group not more than ten about 8 years ago there must be hundreds there now, possible they should be split up but have lots of trouble establishing them as I have major problems with Squirrel eating them and lots of other plants.
They chewed a 3 year old species Primula to the ground yesterday,I was not happy.

I have just received a beautiful collection of Hellebore seeds from Brian. Hopefully the plants will grow also in our drier and hotter climate. If everything goes well, next February you will find here photos of my new Hellebores :))) Many thanks, Brian.
