Just a short one this time, not that there is any shortage of pics just short of time to upload today
One of my favorite Azaleas
Wisteria coming in to its own, first at original area where it was planted and then where it has climbed over the Hawthorn, the last shots are well over 20 ft up.
For any one interested this what the 40 year old trunk looks like
For Katarina
Ref Pruning the Wisteria not sure i am the right person to advise ,But if I do it properly not with the shears (which i often do )I would be removing the current seasons Spur back to one or two leaf joints of new growth if cut now they will probably flower on there next year
Hope this helps this the pink one just opening
Did this standing on a ladder camera in one hand secateurs in the other.
What I do for you .lol

Wisteria envy from me! Amazing - the flowers on the Azalea are gorgeous - very similar to Rhododendron Madame Masson except she doesn't have that pink shade before opening. Thanks for the walk :)

Bjs the Azalea is gorgeous, your garden must look grand with all that colour, quite like your twisted trunk as well, it has great character...

Thank you Brian for your instructions. We had long time ago beautiful old Wisteria like yours, but it demolished the wire-fence after years so we had to make new fence and during construction works Dad cut it strongly to the trunk. Since that time it did not bloom and last year my parents threw it away. I was very sorry after it and still is, as it is so beautiful shrub when blooming...

Visteria is great. So beautiful photo. Can you share some principle of how to cut Visteria in order it doesn´t stop blooming?
