The boxes were for the most part made to measure with exception of Linda’s which was the pattern for size.I sat down with a large Amazon box cut it creased it folded and Glued it into little boxes so that you would all receive them safe and sound.lol you did ask.

Brian's Brilliant Plant Packaging

3 Jul, 2012

I have kept my little box and other packaging for future use.

Thanks, Brian, I was very impressed with how carefully you had packed my baby fern, which is doing well, still sprouting new furry shoots :o)

I certainly didn't throw mine out.
I had to deliver a picture to Strathclyde Uny yesterday. We bubble wrapped it, but because it was raining Barry gave me a large bit of cardboard as extra cover. He said he wanted it back.....so when I arrived I told the secretary Barry wanted his cardboard back which we managed to roll up with difficulty but as I was leaving the doorman commented on the cardboard.....I said I had been told to bring back the cardboard.......he said ,"Of course that is a good bit of cardboard". :o) MEN AND THEIR CARDBOARD!

Excellent Brian. I hope there was something exciting inside the big Amazon box.

People, I have received the pack from Brian this week. I have never seen such order in my house as it was in that box (after hundreds of miles travelling). Lol.
Thank you very much Brian, once again.

I KNEW there was a reason for me insisting on keeping cardboard! I'll show this blog to Partner, then perhaps he'll stop giving me grief about how much space my hoard takes up!

thanks, Brian! I've been checking out "plant packaging" but they seem only to sell the smaller sizes in 200s, and that's a tad more than I think I'd need in a lifetime!

I'm always saving small boxes, packages etc, "just in case", ditto bubble wrap and foam beads; I should have enough to keep me going for a while. Thanks for taking the time to explain that specialist supplies are not needed - lol ever think of becoming a Blue Peter presenter??

Fran it would have been a lot less stressful on Blue Peter than what i did in my working life.Nearest I will get to that is reincarnation as a dog.

awwww, what breed would you fancy? I'd not thought of it before, but I think I'd tend towards the wolf end of the scale!

But I think presenting isn't as easy as it seems, or why would so many of 'em be on hard drugs?
