Homebird here are a few pictures of R.Rosebud taken today. this plant is 35/40 years old and was about the same size as yours when purchased.
Note the new green shoots showing between the flowers this is cutting material that if required has to be taken as as soon as the flowers fade they should then root by the autumn
Klahanie
You thought i had got rid of him as if I would reluctant to pose hence the rather straight face
This is the real jamie running free

Klahanie
think should have given him a shower before his photo shoot.
he had not long come home from a run where he found a pool of water he decided to drink only the urge to get right in was to great, problem was it was thick with mud on the bottom which turned the water brown hence the state of him.

The r. Rosebud is spectacular. WOW....but the real star is Jamie. Only he looks like he does not want to be a star. LOL. His eyes say...do I have to ??
Rhododendrons are wonderful this time of the year. Thanks Bjs :-)
