Where did it all start?? 26th sept thats where. I was wanting to get back into gardening and i have a whole back yard to play with. Like a kid in a sweet shop i didn’t know where to start or what i wanted. So first i saw an offer for free bulbs and i went with that. Then where was i going to put them? The pick and shovel had to come out for that. And this happened

Oh dear!! Well onwards and upwards. So i had this now but didnt know what to do next. Into the wee office and search for advice. And to my joy i found ‘’Grows on You’‘. I signed up and asked a question well i couldn’t have felt more welcome in all my life and the advice was fantastic. :-)

Had to make a frame then shouldn’t i. Thankfully my partners brother had some decking boards going and we got this

HAPPY DAYS. And with a fork and sand we got this. I was told that bulbs like a wee bit under them for the moisture that it holds. Please tell me that is right although its abit late now as i did this

The BULBS where are the bulbs. I had to make alot of dinners (sunday roasts especially) to get away with getting all these. But i got them and some more. Ha! Ha! The way to anybody through their tummy. So the bulbs are down and i stood there for an hour later just admiring the bulbs. My partner just looked and me and prbably was thinking weirdo. But i don’t care i’m a proud new gardener.

Now all we have to do is wait until February to see the colourful display :-)

I would just like to thank everybody here at GROWS ON YOU for their helpfulness advice and friendship. I am feeling a little blessed that i found such a fantastic place where i can go and chat and see wonderful gardens flowers etc.

So There you are. The Beginning :-))

Welcome to GoY Blah!

I, myself, am a complete novice gardener and also found this site by chance when searcching for the answer to a question I had about a pond.....the rest is history and I've been sharing my journey as well as taking in others, ever since! It's addictive but great fun and the wonderfulfriends youmake on GoY are full of knowledge and experience - sap them of it for all your worth:0)

I will add you as a favourite and look forward to enjoying your garden as it starts to change and evolve - bet it will look brilliant with all that colour explosion next year.

You're doing well so far but mark my words, you will be found guilty of spending far too much time on GoY....it sucks you in and it's very hard to pull yourself awy....but it's great, so who cares:0)-

Also, Happy belated Anniversary to Simbad!!
