spring bulb plot

Well as you know when i first joined i started a spring bulb plot
If i remember correctly i had a very sore back and hands after. I put in about 300 bulbs how they fitted i dont know but they did. Then the winter came along with nothing but snow and icy cold days. I was worried incase after all the hard work Ould Mother Nature would destroy it all on me.
But no she been very kind to me and let them survive and i am delighted to say that the first flower of spring has arrived an Iris Katherine Hodkins
It was a very proud moment so much so that our visitors that we had for the last 2 days have had to endure me and my ego :-)))
I dont care what they think when it comes to my plants well they are like my children to nurture and grow to be big and strong and healthy.

That bed is coming along just nicely. All of your bulbs grow at a slightly different rate so will give you a nice succession of flowers over the next couple of months. Katharine Hodgkin is at exactly the same stage of development as is ours.
