On Saturday we went to Lichfield to the Pink Flamingo to listen to live music, drink specialist teas and eat cake:-) Paul son in law took us, OH enjoyed himself too:-)
Tamworth street is not far the centre and has lovely quirky little shops. Unfortunately these were closed when we left the cafe at 7 o’clock ish.
I’d have loved a rummage through these beads:-)
This is Tamworth street pedestrian area
where Pink Flamingo is, wish the weather was brighter.
Here’s our destination, I believe they have live music here , totally free, every Saturday…
….but today Rebecca was singing here:-)
She will hate these photos…ah well they’re all I have:-)
They were the last of four acts left to right Matt Thorpe, Tony Portlock and Ken Stratford on double base. The other is Boo:-)
Aislinn!
What is she looking at so intently? ….. why her own reflection in a glass pillar of course:-)
The bottom pic for Sticki..yes…before you ask, I had a massive slice of coffee walnut cake and, no the fork didn’t break cos we had proper cutlery and china cups:-)
The staff were all lovely and it was the birthday of one of the waitress’ They sang Happy Birthday and presented her with a beautiful B/d cake. One of the owners is a very good musician himself. I hope to come back here soon:-)

Hi Pam \0/ no I don't, but I have magpie tendencies lol. I know I would have bought some. I want an A.N Flamingo since I saw that one in my Malvern blog with the delphiniums, want those delphs too. I know they get big (whopping) but I can have it in a pot for a few years maybe and I believe they can be pruned quite hard.
Are your ears pierced? What a pity no pics. I wouldn't have mine done, didn't like the idea...then as I got older I had them done. Regretted it at first (messy and sore)...then so pleased I did;-)

I must have been in my 20's when Ihad them pierced, I like studs with just a couple of beads,. I took my necklaces in with me and we matched the beads perfectly, a size smaller than the ones in the necklace.....I do like this pretty jewellery to match an outfit, very reasonable too, couldn,t believe £2.99 each pair! And a perfect match for last nights 'posh frock'do!

What a fabulous place Ba, when I saw the blog header I was imagining Acer negundo Flamingo.....but a lovely cafe and good friends is better!
The shops look good shame that they were closed!
Do you make bead jewellery? My fingers aren't flexible enough anymore but Bojangle beads locally just made earrings for two necklaces for me....perfect matches
