We still have some plants getting into flower.
Red buds on an Azalea in our front garden.
First ever flower on a Achillea Cassis.
Retirement Rose in full bloom for 5th time
Miniature Rose in bud madly again.
Cyclamen out since July.
3 Fuchsias still madly flowering….esp the big one.
I took Ashby for a walk & one of the neighbours had 11 different rose bushes with good blooms…..
You are talking Bramhall, Stockport here. Not some Gulf Stream purple patch. I lived in Llanfairfechan & down on the Prom roses bloomed all the year round before the term Global Warming was invented. Colwyn Bay was very exotic before they smashed the bypass in. Blooms all year…..

I lived there for a year + I used to hitch into Bangor. No matter how long I'd wait in the morning I was always in for 10 past for lectures. The Station is on the main line ....Great fun. Llandudno Junction is where all met up...

I know what you mean Bill, I just hope to goodness that we don't suddenly plunge into winter or a lot of plants will suffer.
My OH and I love your part of the world especially Llandudno. :)

I was a bit put off Llandudno some years ago by the sight of raw sewage floating about in the sea on the south shore, but they woldbn't be alowed to let it happen now.... hopefully!

Some bulbs here are well up - don't know what will happen to them when it does turn colder.
Llanfairfechan brings back memories of a holiday in Colwyn when I was 9. The station there was wonderfully decorated and I specially loved the lampost with a snake climbing up it. I suppose the station is closed now but it brought a lot of pleasure to a little girl.
