Gorgeous - love the colours, so unusual

Very unusual colours. The leaves should begin to appear shortly - the flowers usually appear first.

Lovely flowers, Clarice! I just had to add this blog to my Favourites!
Don't worry about the leaves they will come when ready. It's important to keep the plant in a light place but not in direct sunlight or the leaves will get burnt. Just make sure the soil always remains damp - not wet or they will rot! Once the leaves get big you can feed it with a weekly fertilizer with lots of Potash, the kind that is used for roses or tomatoes.
I've added a couple of links to this post to do with the care of Amaryllis. I was reading them only a day or two ago & I thought that from my own experience with these bulbs over more than 30 years they were very good.

Hope you find them useful! I hope you get your plant to flower again next year.
Just a couple days ago I discovered yet another stem coming from one of my bulbs (more than 50) this time on the kitchen windowsill. It's in a pot behind the TV so not easy to get to. It's also the bottom pot in a tier 3 pots high! These tiers run the length of the 3m (10ft) long windowsill & most of the time they are 3 pots high, though there are 4 in the centre of the tiers. So it was difficult to spot! It's now about 30cm (12") tall. Now I have one in each of the three windows that have tiers of pots in them! Only one I suspected when I brought them home from the allotment in October. The other two have surprised me! I'll post some photos when the flowers begin to open.

You're more than welcome, Clarice! :-))
Just yesterday I noticed that the first flower bud to grow since I brought my plants home from the allotment in the middle of October was opening a couple of flowers so I took it into the kitchen & set it on the breakfast bar under the window.
I took a few photos this morning which I'm now going to upload to my photos.
Has yours finished flowering yet? It was a magnificent flower! :-))
