Wind and Rain

its the same here Clarice, in between the sunshine we had really strong winds and heavy showers

It sure as, and still is.

It is SOOO windy here that I couldn't stay outside for long! It's blowing leaves and bark from the Eucalyptus tree all over the place! As for plants, well, I can't look...

It as been terrible as'nt it Barbara.

my salix in pot keeps blowing over grrr, i even put bricks in the bottom when i repotted it

Its been just as bad here as well carol. Strong winds with heavy rain, and five minutes later bright sunshine! ! ! You just don't know what to expect next. Carol's (Mrs. Digs) washing is dizzy from all the to'ing and fro'ing.

Anywhere where there's some sunshine!!

I've just seen the local forecast and I think I'm going to howl - rain, cloud, rain, more rain. The wind is still howling outside and I'm off to bed! Goodnight all.

I must say we haven't had damaging winds here which is rather unusual since everywhere else seems to have had them, - but it has been a little bit blustery all the same. Sorry to hear of your plants Carol

Sorry to hear of all the damage done to your's, and everyone elses garden, Clarice. We've had much the same weather as everyone else, but I seem to be the lucky one as I don't seem to have had any damage done to the garden. The only present the strong winds bought me was plenty of 'helicopters' from next door's tree...........plenty of hoeing to be done soon to get rid of all the seedlings! lol

Well dont believe it got up this morning to find the plants in the last photo where it had been damaged thursday night to find last nights wind had broken lots of stems of it so this morning took the hole lot of it out, and put some bulbs in its place for spring, so dont think the wind can do much to them, it is still very blustery today again, sun keeps coming out but it does keep trying to rain aswell.

Been very windy here on the south coast as well......its a wonder my sunflowers are still standing.........
