Two sleepy visitors to my garden

Yesterday we’d just had a tiny rain shower when these two chaps came and landed on our garden fence

Then they settled down and had forty winks

Here’s the shady corner next to our patio doors where I have planted a holly fern and leucothoe axillaris (curly red)

The lilies are looking good after a quick rain shower

Our inherited rose, does anyone know it’s proper name?

And our inherited Clematis, again – does anyone know it’s name?

Lots of things going on in the greenhouses

Saxifrage Gleborg continues to flower

Sedum Variegatum looking good :)

Benji is making a quick recovery from the tick bite now, saw the vet yesterday who gave us another 3 days worth of antiboitics just to make sure he’s ok now. His temperature is back to normal but his energy levels (which are usually through the roof!) are still not as they should be. Hopefully he’ll be up for a photo shoot in the garden in a couple of days :)
