Washington Botanical Garden

We have been on holiday to US visiting my stepson and his family and on the way back we detoured via Washington DC. Whilst there we visited the Botanical Garden which ws really lovely, among the exotic were ornamental (steel and wrought iron) flowers which I loved.

Surely this orchid is the real thing? It looks as if the oversize flowers in your second shot are amongst a grouping of similar creations. Sounds unique, Daisy.
