The Garden House

If you find yourself around the Plymouth area and are lost for somewhere to go, you will not be disappointed to lose yourselves for half a day at the garden house Yelverton. The entry fee is very reasonable and access for wheelchair users is superb, and most of all if you love your gardens you will not be disappointed.

I've been able to see the page with no problems.
I found it very interesting. Never been there but it looks like a great place to visit - but a bit far especially if you rely only on public transport!
I spent an Easter weekend at a place near Dartmoor (Newton Abbot?) - back in 1972 I think it was! Then about 5 years ago I spent a day wandering around Plymouth while waiting for my son to come over on the ferry. I got some good pictures of a VERY STEEP park there!

The Garden House is one of the best gardens in the country! Head Gardener was Keith Wiley for 25 years, but a few years ago he moved a mile down the road to start his own Garden and nursery called Wildside ... it is definitely also worth a visit - really inspiring.
Thanks Davey 🙂 .
