WELLIES A SCARF? DOG ON THE BACK.

Good morning to you all,
Im not long back from the “walkies” with the four mutts,
As i walked along the lane back to our home we come near to the road thats leads to our village along the way,

As i walked along a got a loud beep beep, (i thought its the binmen come back to haunt me)

But no it was a tractor and trailer chugging along
In the trailer was “missy” the sheep dog from one of the farms near us, she was made up to see my four dogs and barked a good morning to them,

Now the french never just beep and drive on unless its urgent,
No they do stop And so without a second thought the tractor stops and i could see a pair of well dunged wellies climbing down from the other side,
then this well weather beaten face smiled at me and i got three air kisses to say hello with,

Infront of me stood a lady wearing a cross over pinny, head scarf and not a scrap of any make up on her face,

In her teenage years this lady must have been a real beauty,
Her name is C’mon, and ever since we first met some 12 years ago now she’s always been a welcomed friend,

I asked are you off to the fields,
No she said im off for bread in the village and thought as ive been in the barn since 6am and as missy wanted to come with me i’d go by tractor.

What a life and what a woman (not bad for 69 years of age).

Well its really sunny here just now and ive to get cleaned up for the libary visit so i’ll just wish you all a nice day and hope you enjoy your gardening.
