tree in full bud "febuary!!!

Evening all,
Ive just come back from the local super-market and while the “boss” was inside i walked around the grass area at the rear with "Roxanne’
I was looking at verious trees and bushes that had the buds almost open ,
It’s febuary and we’ve daffs out “but” i really was surprised to see the buds so far advanced.
The temp/ today was 15deg a real warm breeze just gentley blowing.
Whats your trees/bushes like in your area??

Yes, loads of catkins here too - no leaves though- and some early daffs in places. One of my hydrangeas is trying to come into leaf and won't listen to reason, but the other trees and bushes are OK for now.

Some plants respond to day length and others to temperature. It's the latter ones that are responding to the mild weather

Tree trunks waying and dancing tops in the gales, been sitting watching the church yard next door trees to night awaiting for one to fall on my house which would rip my fence down too if the roots go as they are head under my fence towards the house.

The flowering cherry at the bottom is in flower, the Ceontus has a few flowers on it, poor thing is very confused and has been trying to flower all winter, normally its a June display, lots of leaves on my Hydrangea as well.....

My flowering currant is putting out leaves at the moment, and my hydrangeas. I expect we'll have a cold snap soon which will kill them off :(

We have several hazel trees, all have catkins on their bare stems but one still has most of its leaves from last year and catkins, strange........
