Colour. Colour. Colour

The garden seems to be so full of colour these days and the blooms are lasting. last year the Magnolia was over in a week or so ; this year it is nearly three weeks and the flowers are still there, in spite of some strong, chilly winds some days.
This afternoon we walked around the garden and I took some photographs. Hope you like them.

Ooh - sunshades required for this blog! Amazing colours. We were in Dorset last week - fabulous countryside - much nicer than Sussex ... :o)

Isn't it odd how Nature gets away with clashing colours. Imagine, ladies wearing a dress in the colours of the first image!

It should clash I agree but it somehow seems so right and I like the way they are now intermingling....

maybe we should learn from nature and not worry too much about which colours 'go' with others:)
