I’ve been bemoaning the long hot sunny weather we’ve experienced since february…..
Yesterday the temperature fell to the low 60s F (17C) with a cold NE wind and bouts of drizzle……
I’ve put the pots of cucumbers, aubergines, melons etc. back into the greenhouse….
Our first visitors arrived tuesday evening expecting shorts and tee-shirts/salads and Pimms and, instead, it’s long-johns and jumpers/curry and Bovril (almost)….

How does the weather always seem to know… a) when it’s a Bank holiday…. b) when we have visitors?
