32c in the shade

Still no sign of the weather cooling – although there is a forecast of a thunderstorm for Tuesday (the day my friend arrives!) I will believe it when it happens – we have had several storms forecast in the last weeks and none materialised, so fingers crossed.
I have to admit to cheating a bit :-( Yesterday I collected two made up hanging baskets to replace a couple of mine that have gone over. Tried to do a bit of tidying up but as it was 32c in the shade I gave up until after I had watered at 20.00 when it was a bearable 27c.
I’m late up this morning 09.30 and it’s 26c already. Put my feet up with the inevitable Bailey’s last night and watched the XFactor. Then I spent some time digging out pics to put on here. Another Baileys later, and it was almost midnight (now why did I oversleep I wonder!)
Puss cats all fed and out to play – except Freddy who is fast asleep on the sofa. Time to do a bit I think……

It's not a cheat Fen...just a time saving exercise!

Sunshine here too but nowhere near your temps! ;0)

Isn't it typical ? Round about 3pm we had a 'dry' thunderstorm bangs and crashes for 2 or 3 hours. Then at 6 pm - it 'rained' for 25 minutes! Not hard but steady, enough to save me watering the garden at least.
Hopefully thats it for a while :-)
