A new tropical garden has been created. This is one of two urns at the entrance.
The fountain in the centre.
Unknown plant leaves on a bench.
The Veg Garden.

Thank you for the photographs of the Vegetable Garden
at Wisley FF (note capital letters to emphasise importance) brought back happy memories of my visit years ago. Thought at the time the soil must have had plenty of compost mixed in at the autumn digging. It seemed to
be higher, maybe years of adding material.
I remember reading once of a lady whose father had an allotment next to the sea at St.Annes north of Blackpool.
She said he went to the beach every day collecting seaweed in a wheelbarrow. His plot was 18" higher than all the others, and his children were never ill all the years they were growing up.

Agree Diane, seaweed is great. None washed up so far this year here more's the pity.

I love looking at the veggie garden, Diane, it is always so neat & the greens are all protected from pigeons.

Your 'unknown' is melianthus major. It's the best foliage plant we can grow IMHO. Did you try rubbing the leaves, they smell of peanuts (not related though)
