I wanted to put some headings under these photos but it didn't come up like that ( still learning how to do these things). The pink blossom tree in the glasshouse is a trumpet tree, Pau d' Arco. Was going to say, " in the alpine house". In the Veg garden". Butterflies in the Glasshouse, etc. Ah well, perhaps I'll manage it next time, hope I haven't bored you, I go to Wisley quite a lot!

Thank you for posting this Wisley blog, so much to see on a sunny day. Lots of things for the children on their half-term break by the looks of it. We hope to visit in the Summer.

Thank you Josee. Really cheered me up this dismal morning.

What a lucky lady you are living so close to such a wonderful place. I loved the caterpillars, the only type I want in my garden! Judging from your pictures spring really must be just around the corner. As for being bored...not a bit!

Really lovely blog Feverfew - thanks for sharing. Great photos from the butterfly house! Do you have any idea what the trumpet-shaped yellow flowers are? (just before the pic of alpine plants).

Always something to see in Wisley. How could anyone be bored there?

Thanks for the visit, Feverfew.

Sheila, I wonder if they are Narcissus romieuxii. Take a look at AndrewR's photos (or Google images!) as they look similar to me.

Lol, not clever at all, just a good memory for photos on GoY! They are gorgeous flowers aren't they?

Glad you have all enjoyed my visit, lots more going on there in March!

I often wonder if benches of sand are for decorative effect or do they conserve the correct amount of moisture for
terracotta pot grown plants with 1" of grit in the top.
