I had to put this separately, something didn’t like having these pics in with the others – maybe me trying to over-fill the pot!
I’ve got no idea what kind of conifer this is;
detail
but it seems to be having a baby

You've got a nice selection. Sorry I can't help with their names

ah well, these sort of count as my "practice" plants; I'm going to have to accept that I'll lose a fair few while I'm learning to look after them properly - not to *like* it, just to accept that it's going to happen.
I have a very long list of plants that I culled from my various gardening books; I'm ging to go through it plant by plant and prune it rather severely; then I'll buy specific named varieties, rather than "conifer" from the supermarket.

Looks like Thuja, perhaps Thuja occidentalis. It forms quite thick, so can be used hedge in a few years/block a view/screen something. Pick off the brown bits with your hand and add some fresh soil and it will start looking better.
