Thanks, all it'll be a while before i put any "progress" blogs up, partly because I've not made much progress, what with one thing and another! and partly beacause the new pc still needs some TLC and i don't want to risk overworking it, but mostly because I want to find out what's been going on while I've been awol.

Good to see you back Fran. Lovely weather these last 2-3 days and longer evenings. Next door had a foxy visit and it tried to mine under our corner gazebo from his garden. I doled out 2 old chimney pots for him to use as blockers, while he plans a more hidden solution. This fox is crafty, seldom seen and very subversive! Still battling with the sneaky allium but no where near so much of it.

Thanks Dprjac: the weather here has been unusually good, too - whatever happened to March "coming in like a lion, going out like a lamb"? part of me still thinks that we'll have to pay for this sunshine later ...

Well, foxes are, by nature, sort of "foxy"! this one sounds like he's found a place he wants to call home and it determined to go for it no matter what.

I think I've got forget-me-not probs like your alliums: I thought i'd got rid of all the vagrants, but it seems not. I like them - when controlled and in tubs where they can't spraed, but not a whole garden full of them.

And even more catching up to do now! pc was totally down for the past 5-6 weeks, only just up and limping now. And having to get used to Windows 10 [badly set up] is going to make things so much more fun!

November - I can only repeat the title of this blog again ... in the last five months I've only been able to get online for about two weeks, and for at least three of those months I was totally pc-less.

Now I can only hope the damn thing stays working for long enough for me to be able to catch up with everyone and their activities. But don't be too surprised if you don't hear from me again for a while ...

Oh crumbs Fran, you're having so much fun," NOT" its no consolation for you but I've had a terrible year as regards Goy, I often get that error page, then it says server not found or it doesn't recognize the site, obviously that has been checked and double checked lots of times, okay for a while and when I think all is ok again it goes haywire yet again, dread to think how long it would take to write a blog, in all honesty I've given up at the moment out of sheer frustration...

When I could get online, I could get to the GoY page but the PC I was using them wouldn't let me even log in, much less comment or post anything. There might have been a problem with the site, but it was a tad annoying, she understated!

Lets hope we both have better luck now then Fran, I don't mind so much about the lack of blogs for myself as a lot of what was going on in the garden wasn't any different to past years anyway, I persevered with the ones about my removal of the trees and redoing the spaces left, what annoyed me was not being able to comment on other members or thinking it was working ok only to find my comments had disappeared again, Fran its frustrating to say the least ..
