Thanks, Yorkshire - there are just a few more plants left to flower....Chrysanths, mainly, I think.

Are they all grey?
Don't try cutting any for indoors - you might break the vase!

Thank you, Karen. Aster frikartii 'Monch' is simply the best Aster there is - it just flowers and flowers....and attracts insects, too. :-)

Ah, thanks for that tip. I have planted an Aster this year...you may remember, I am not fond generally because of the mildew effect! Mine is Novae-Angliae 'Violetta'. I just loved the colour on the Crocus website page!! It will be flowering soon......

It isn't prone to mildew - and I think it has an AGM. I'll be interested to see your new one. :-)

Great, even better....must make a note of it!

Oh do - it's such a good plant. :-)

LOL.

It looks gorgeous! lots of variety :) I've got five michaelmas daisy plants that came up from seed and have got big enough to go out now... are they alright to plant in a group or are they big enough to go solo?
14 Sep, 2010
Normally, they do make a good clump on their own, so unless you have a HUGE border as in a stately home, lol, I'd plant them separately. :-)

Thanks :) its about two metres deep, but not very long, so i think i'll go for singles :P

Also mum loves them, so this way i can put some in front of the kitchen window aswell :D
