Cornus canadensis

Cornus canadensis (Cornus canadensis)

The whole plant. It isn't supposed to be in flower at this time of year - it should be bearing berries!

Oooh i like this Spritz, dark leaves and bright flowers are striking.. what colour will the berries be, if they show there faces lol..

It has a very few berries, Ydd. They seem to be bright orangey-red.

I think that under normal conditions - that is, NOT being grown in a polytunnel, the leaves will be green when the flowers are in bloom - but the berries will grow and show up with the lovely deep red leaves at this time of year!

I have to admit that I fell for this plant today! It should look good in the place I plan for it! :-))

Looks lovely. Have added to my favourites. Is it low growing.
Who should I send a message too regarding adding a section to GOY. I was thinking of a "Wish List" page so that anyone who sees a plant they would like can add it to that page and have a record they can print off when visiting gc's. My favourites is good but has pics of all sorts of things as well as plants.

There is a wish-list somewhere, but when I tried it, as like you, I thought it would be great, it took me to the 'Shopping' area!

Try a 'contact us' message. P&A always respond.

Oh, and yes, it is low-growing!
