Those are the days the kids look back on and remember don,t you think :o)

Milky my daughter gave up sending the kids over in good clothes when we had them for a weekend we had a huge bonfire , they were poking it with sticks and having a lovely time , we didn,t notice all the little burn holes in their clothes untill the next day ., when mum came to fetch them ... . OOPS ...

Ha ...thats what I like to hear Dawn.......If kids cant enjoy themselves when they are with Nana , who can they do it with........We get messy....Im a gardener....thats what I love....If she want a free baby sitter she has to accept that, and if princess dresses get ripped , so what, she has had fun, and thats what its all about.............

Hope your daughter in law isnt a GOY member, lol.
I have lots of clothes with cinder burns too Amy. When my daughter was little she had her friend round and they put their bikinis on, went in the brook and covered themselves with mud from the bank, from head to toe - I just hosed them down, lol. It was summer by the way!

Our messages crossed Maureen. Childhood is about getting mucky isnt it and they're not kids for long. I bet the kids love your garden. Maybe she wont ask you to child mind if you keep sending the little one home filthy, ha ha.

3 May, 2009

Ha ha, you've sussed me out, lol.
Have you looked after Chloe since she was a baby then Maureen?

3 May, 2009

I have done it since Milly was 6 months old and she in 6 on June 3rd......so pretty much every week for 5 and a half years.........Had enough now......It started of as supposed to be alternate weeks with her own Mum, but she only did 1 week and said thats enough....so I was the lucky one.........dont get me wrong cos I love those little girls, but i just cant be doing with all their petty little squabbles anymore.......

Flippin heck, that's a long time Maureen. I dont know how you've done it - hard work looking after little ones and so restrictive for you too.
