Hywel, I am really enjoying seeing your Fuchsia photos. You may remember that I had to ditch all of mine a couple of years ago due to Gall Mite problems. I do miss them ... only have 'Lady Boothby' now as she didn't succumb to the disease.

Thank you Lori :)
Shirley most of my Fuchsias are hopeless this year. They have been ruined by capsid bugs :(
I'm sorry you haven't got any Fuchsias other than Lady Boothby now. I still have the two you sent me and they seem to have resisted the capsid bugs.
I have a few cuttings that I could send you if you like. They haven't been attacked by the capsid bugs because they are inside a shelter.
Or if you see one you like let me know and I'll take a cutting for you.

Hywel, that's a shame some of yours are hopeless this year.
It's very kind of you to offer me some cuttings, but quite honestly, as this problem is serious in Southern England I'm not going to grow them any longer.
I shall admire yours from afar! :o)x

That's a shame Shirley, but there are many other things you can grow instead :o) x

I love Fuchsias but it such a shame we cannot risk it here in the South, we have two at the moment ....

Thank you both … I won't move to the south of England then ;)

No Hywel I would stay where you are, especially with those amazing views!

South of England also has lots of beautiful places, I've been to some of them - the Dorset coast is fantastic, New Forest, Salisbury Plain, I remember going to Old Sarum - so interesting !
But I'll stay here so that I can grow Fuchsias lol :)

Nice Fuchsia Hywel. I have been growing ‘Beacon’ and have two standards coming on...

That's nice. I haven't got any standards. I keep telling myself to grow one but never get around to it.
Nice to hear from you again.
