Mirror at Barnwood NGS (love your garden)

This is like Annellas mirror, I do like the effect it creates, have one in our garden but not as nice as this, and well hidden.

That is really lovely Dotty ... perhaps you will be re-siting your mirror soon!

Shirley we are going to get a proper garden mirror, the one we have at the top of the garden is an old bedroom one, but it does the trick....

There are so many lovely ones to choose from now. This looks good in the dark shade against the light wall.

Primrose have a nice selection. That's a lovely one and the reflection is perfect! Did you see the spa garden they did this week for that lovely policeman and his incredible wife? it was amazing....can't imagine how much it must have cost....probably more than the house!

I love these and have been tempted especially since Annella put my mind at rest about birds hitting the glass , I'm putting one on my wish list ! ... ....

I never had a casualty either, but I did have a mad blue tit that would fight it's reflection for ages!

That mirror really adds something special to the wall. It looks like a gateway into another space.

I've always loved the way mirrors add an extra space to an area (even if it is an illusion). It would be a great idea in my tiny garden.....I'll have to keep an eye out inthe local junk shops.House mirrors work just as good as long as they are sealed against water getting in and rotting them etc.

Looking at this again I think I am going to paint the trellis frames on mine, the grey/green has gone very dingy now

Good idea Annella........we bought a mirror with shutters either side, trying to find somewhere to site it is proving very difficult!!
