Beautiful grasses and great colour combination Bluespruce. I'd like to add it to faves, but please could you ID the two central grasses?? Thanks!

Hi Sheila, grass to the front is Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Herbstzauber' syn. Autumn Wizard. The one behind is Miscanthus sinensis 'Elfin'

Thanks very much! Is your Pennisetum hardy? I had a P. rubra last year, but lost it. :(( Have added this to favourites.

Yes Sheila Pennisetum alopecuroides cultivars are hardy, Pennisetum sectaceum cultivars, which 'Rubrum' is one. are not, in fact the first frosts usually kill them outright!
