Carex comans "Milk Chocolate". I thought that I would have to order this online, but there it was, in a local garden centre. Wanted to buy them all!

Cheers, my Dears, Gee and Irish! Isn't this just fab? Glad I showed some self-control, Gee, lol! Have also thought of the best ever planter for this one. Hope that TK Maxx still has it - a dark chocolate metal planter on a pedestal - even more yummy! :-)

Many Thanks, folks!
Arlene - have changed my mind already (which is why I can never stick to a garden plan, lol!). I think that the pedestal is currently reserved for a bowl of Viola "Velour Chocolate Frost" (Mr Fotheringalls), seeds winging their way here as I type. But, then again...........................
Caroline - should have the first part planted over the coming week (we can't wait, either!)
Daisydee - This is a new one to me! But, oh, I get it! You mean that eating a lot makes you outgrow your clothes? Hasn't worked for us (yet), lol!
And, also, a big "Hello, and Thanks" to everyone down the right side with your "likes" !

I've just had another look at your Milk chocolate carex, David as I saw some in my local GC yesterday. I thought it was the same as that already growing in my garden but not at all sure. Mine seems paler, I think, now I've had another look.

Could yours be Carex buchananii,? This is paler, but we have a few, as it resembles carmelised brown sugar, and is thin, but curls outwards. It is more bronze than brown, too, but reminds us of the "Hair Toffee" in the story, lol!
Am sure I have a pic somewhere, with a tag, will need to check! - X
