Was about to put a pic of ours on, the rain has made it grow like crazy......

I had this in my other garden and it spread quite a lot but the bees loved it and the colour on the flowers was really an intense blue. Best to wear gloves when handling as it does prickle.

You be careful Gee or wear gloves as Lindak suggests , It's a lovely colour Yorkshire and is going mad this year it obviously like the rain Dd .......

Hey Amy do you have a recipe for quince jelly, Lindak ask if I had one but i've not, her neighbour has given her some quince.

Yes I have Yorkshire it's in my old Mrs Beetons book , here it is :
..........Water ~~~ Sugar ~~~Quince
Wipe fruit carefully . do not peel but cut into quarters and put into the preserving pan with sufficient cold water to cover ...
Bring slowly to the boil and simmer gently until the quinces are quite tender .
Strain through a scolded Jelly bag- do not sqeeze or the jelly will not be clear .
Add 1lb of sugar to each pint of juice and boil till setting point is reached ....
Hope this helps .. Good luck Lindak :o))

Love Borage flowers....little bright blue stars...buit like you say Amy, prickly stems....they look great though in summer drinks, you just pop them into your ice cube squares before filling.

What a lovely idea Janey , I have made an ice bowl with flowers trapped between the layers in the past , I will be giving your cubes a go , Thanks :o))
