I love these too, and actually was surprised how soft the ball felt. I would love a shorter one for the garden..most Ive seen are about 5ft tall. Lovely flower Spritz.

The original plants have spread - I do know that they have tap roots, so I wonder if they can be split?

They might be like Oriental Poppies - if I dig one of those up and leave just a little bit of root behind, it seems to grow!!
