Primula allionii 5/3/2009

This primula occurs on steep limestone cliffs in the Maritime Alps. It resents overhead wet at any time so has to be grown in the unheated greenhouse. There are many named varieties available from the specialist nurseries. This plant is about fully grown and is in a 10" pot.
