thanx roseberry i cant believe it myself, just over a year from start to finish and looks like its been like this for a few years, im so pleased, will have to seperate some plants next spring as i crambed to many in for a instant look lol, will have to make a new border to fit plants in then ;o))

It looks great San, You both have done a brill job and it looks like its been there for years, i love your planting scheme and rocks and pebble's. arent acer's amazing, mine looks the same as yours and when the sunshine is on the leave's it comes alive. mine is in a pot burried in the border and like you have, im taking it out and planting it next year eeeek . Scarey isn't it?

hi Dee lovely to see you , hope your well and enjoying your garden to,we have done lots over winter to get to this with the new pond, i love it and will be able to sit and enjoy this summer i hope lol, my acer seems to have settled really well in the ground now but was a little scared it may not live , very windy here today and been staking some of my plants before they snap off ;o( but at least the sun shining ;o))

isnt it ray,, my son just gave me 3 seeds of a nelumbo nucifera, if you want to try one pm me ray, its a form of water lily but you can have it in ground or water and have to over winter roots when died off, thought it may be fun to try ;o))

thats ok ray, its sprouted already so i have to read up on it now, its going to be to big for my pond i think but just want to see what its like ;o))
the acer seems fine silverbelle im a little concerned about being so close to pond though, never thought about roots, dont want them growing and piercing liner

All looks brilliant San and I have been thinking about moving our red Acer to the front garden when we have a wall built around it, which won't be for a while.
If I do move it to the ground, I hope it looks half as good as yours!!
