It is a pretty, small tree........not as stunning as the golden Laburnum, but quietly attractive...:o))

I love Laburnum, reminds me of my childhood (many moons ago).
You don't see many these days.

Do you know Val....there are lots here in North Lincs...all in flower with Lilacs at the moment so looking especially pretty....:o)

Maybe thats why I don't see many down in the South West,----------- you see I was brought up in the North ! ! Puzzle solved ! lol.

I live in the north west Valadel and in our little close there is one in the front garden opposite us, I look forward to seeing it in flower every year.!

Oh, I have never seen this before. This is going on my faves so I can hunt it down later. Beautiful! Love the yellow ones too, but not in my garden. This would be much more acceptable!

Thanks for all the great comments...:o) It is an unusual small tree....we planted it about 3 years ago...there were 2 at our local garden centre. I have looked since as Arlene was interested in them, but I haven't seen any there since. I think it would suit an open aspect better than my walled garden as the blossoms are virtually the same colour as the old red brick, so not showing up as well as they would against a different background.

Hello Georgiamum welcome to GoY! I'm not sure if the temperatures where you are would be too high in the summer...saying that though the cytisus part might be quite happy.....:o)
