lol Sandra! hahahah. I have been eating a lot of figs, I was wondering why I have been going so much, when my neighbour brought me more, he then said to me to be careful not to eat so much of it at once. Lol. I said too late!

I think you need to get a peach tree Milky.
Amy/Maureen: We have plum trees but some of them have grubs ... you know they're in there when you see that clear, crusty residue ...... any idea when they should be sprayed? Is it when they're in blossom?

Sorry Dawn , the last old Plum tree here died on us we bought a new one to replace it but it hasn't had any fruit on it yet , you will be able to tell me what to do with it next year ...LOL..

I would wait and see whether we get a good crop of Peaches again next year Dawn , it could have something to do with the pollination , and old chap told me that you should ' tickle ' each flower with a paint brush to polinate it , but I don't do that , I leave it to the Bees , I suppose if it's a bad year with not many Bees you might have to , :o)

Fresh fruit mmmm good crop you have there.

Thanks for the peach tree advice Amy - yet again :-)
My Dad used to tickle the tomato plant flowers too with a ball of cotton wool on a stick but if you flick the sticks it seems to have the same effect.
Maybe the bees were kind to us this year then Amy.
When I've found info on the plum trees I will share with you Amy :-)
