Thats exactly what it is Amy, a giant cowslip. Grew them for around the pond, can get to 3 feet tall. Got some in the beds. Like everything else they need rain.

These are nice Marguerite, I'm so pleased with them, so big and bright. Its nice to have Summer primula.

Love Cowslips...I never pick off the seed heads I leave them and let them self seed, I also like the way they look after flowering too..

Hi Sandra. Have you had an awful wet Summer then. Would you believe its still dry here, we've hardly had any rain at all this year, quite a contrast to other years.
