Always reliable to add Autumn colour, this late flowering Red Hot Poker sends up its flower spikes from the end of September onwards. On the wall behind is the Golden Heart Vine, planted in the Spring and showing its deep red Autumn colour.

Thanks...:o) I bought the Vine in the Spring Gee in the cheap bin at a garden centre and it's sent out 2 long stems which a couple of months ago had gold leaves...just a handful left now turning red. I think in the Spring I'll give it a prune so it should send more out from the base.
Come next year Carole I'm hoping it will cover the trellis....:o)

The colours go very well together. I really like the golden heart vine - is it very vigorous?
